OK, I was actually drinking cocktails with Stephen from specialist electronica label Benbecula. They were launching the new release from the artist Christ, called "Blue Shift Emissions". Those cocktails pack a punch! I've always loved electronic music, from Klaus Schulze and his own label artists such as Robert Schroeder and Baffo Banfi (not making these up!) to DAF, Can and David Vorhaus. So when I met Stephen at a trade fair, he slipped me some Benbecula toons. I was instantly captivated by Christ's "Metamorphic Reproduction Miracle", so I'll need to hear this new one. I also like Boards of Canada -c'mon Scotland! :)
