Busy Weekend...

after a busy week too. Erins 8th birthday this week, so we had a laser session and a party at the house for some of her pals. Beats walking around Grangemouth at the gala day(usually raining) ...memories of growing up there :(

Earlier this week, attended the opening night of the Edinburgh International Film Festival, with my drinking / movie buddy Steven Lindsay. On the way out of the movie, we were slowly moving up the aisles. An older chap gestured for us to go out in front of him - only Sir Sean Connery! The movie itself was so-so, a rom com entitled Away We Go. Director Sam Mendes was there too, with a couple of the thesps from the movie.

Oh - and the kids hamster "Fudge" passed away this weekend. Janice and the kids are just back from giving him a viking burial down at the canal - he floated away in his wee burning panty liner box to the strain of the theme tune from "The Vikings" to join his wee pal "Cocoa" who chucked it earlier this year. It's given Janice an idea about a really cheap way to get shot of me when it's my turn...
